Right around Easter time the bluebonnets are everywhere- mainly on the side of highways. Everytime I drove home from Hannah's school there was one spot off the highway that I had dreamed about taking pictures of both girls! I already had their Easter dresses all I needed was a good hair day for Hannah, perfect weather, and full tummys before heading out at sunset. Well, never did I think about a happy baby on my list because Lulu is always easy going, always with smiles. We got in the car after dinner at 7:30 and drove about 10 min to field of bluebonnets. I already envisioned how great the photos will turn out with the sun going down and the girls in their matching dresses- perfect 8x10 photo to frame with the bluebonnets I thought. I had to carry Lulu to the field because the grass was taller than her in some places and we had to dodge some major ant piles. The second I pealed her off my hip she started to cry- hadn't even made it to the ground and she was screaming! I couldn't believe it- what the heck was going on with her???? So as she was screaming and trying to climb back on me, I got a good shot of Hannah. I was insistent on getting a picture of them two and hopeful that Lulu would throw in a smile. Yeah....no good luck here....

I just love how the bluebonnets are curved around her |

Easter Sunday was marvelous. We had an awesome service at church and felt just extremely grateful what Jesus had done for us. The pain and suffering He went through to give us life is incredible. Hannah has learned so much of Jesus' death and resurrection from school that she enjoyed the service as well. That afternoon we had an egg hunt and dinner with my mom and good friends. And of course, I had to try again for round 2 of pictures. Lulu was in a great mood and all smiles!
My friend's son is in Hannah's class so they had a blast with our little egg hunt. Hannah & I colored and filled 24 empty eggs with confetti. She just couldn't wait to crack them on everyone's head.
