2012

Oh My GOSH!!!!  The year of 2012 is here!  When I was little, time would go by SO slow!  Our summer break from school felt like 6 months verses 3 months.  When school started in September, it felt like eternity until Christmas break approached.  Now, I'm always saying: where did the summer go?   

I am excited to see what this year brings!  My baby will be one years old soon- let the fun begin!  I love, love the baby stage- it's the sweetest stage ever.  However, I'm ready for the next phase of her life!  It's going to be fun to see her run around with her sister, to start learning simple words, expressing more emotions and to see her baby face change into a toddler face.  2012 will also be a huge year for Hannah.  In the fall, she will start kindergarten!!!  She can't wait to go to school everyday and to take the school bus. 

2012 will also be Gabe's & I nine year anniversary!  One year away from the big one-O (10)!  For the first time, my New Years resolution is not about me.  Well, not about trying to lose more weight anyway, but about being a better wife.  Gabe is such a great husband and does a lot for me and this past year I feel like I have been focused about being super mom.  Working at the restaurant and being home with the girls is tough to juggle.  Time & house hold chores was always was an excuse to not spend time together.  I want to make it to my 10 year, 20 and 50th anniversary.  Spending more time with God and my husband will make it happen!!!  There is always room for improvement (Gabe's famous line) and God knows I need to improve in the wifey department!  ****Champagne glasses up****  Here is to a year of LOTS of LOVE and more time for each other ***cheers***  

It's all about LOVE

One more thing to add to my first post of the New Year.  Hannah asked me the other day if I'm older than her dad.  I gave her a crazy look asked her: why, do I look older than dad?  She responded: No, you don't, dad looks way older, but you're the boss of everything, you're the boss of this house and I thought you have to be older and taller to be the boss?!
